It's A New Beginning Everyday We Open Our Eyes
Lovely, Get On Up!
One of my favorite music legends, James Brown, said to us “Get on up and stay on the scene!” Exactly! We need to stay on the scene of life. We know we are part of the matured woman tribe that is fiery, sizzling and still standing with confidence!
Society continues to bombard us with various PSA (Public Service Announcements) about us becoming broken down and what we need to do about it. The PSA appears to focus on how our physical bodies automatically become so weak that we will no longer be needed by society! I beg to differ!
So lets get up on the scene and and get focused on self and living life well. How do we do this? We must remain focused on our W.H.Y. for life! Our W.H.Y. is our wisdom from life experiences, hope from our trust in ourselves and our confidence and powerful Yes to living well. There must be a collective focus. How can we do this?
Theorist Abraham Hicks has a tool to help us. This tool is designed to guide us to shift and resist the negative thoughts in any area of your life. It is one of the characteristics of the laws of attraction. This tool is the Focus Wheel.
Our goal for us as the “matured woman” is to build a momentum of focusing on living well in all areas of our lives. The Focus Wheel will guide or give you the momentum to focus on one or two areas or goals at a time.
Let’s talk about how the Focus Wheel can be used in various areas of our lives.
This tool is a manifestation tool. Say it , Read it and Believe it!
This tool helps you to shift your focus to meet your goal.
This tool helps us to create a positive momentum to reach a goal or goals.
This tool gives you ownership of creating a Focus Wheel that aligns with your goals and not society’s predetermined ideas for the matured woman.
The “how” of creating a Focus Wheel.
Identify one goal you want to reach.
Create the Focus Wheel by drawing a circle large enough to also draw a small circle in the middle. The middle circle should be large enough to write your goal in the center.
Next, divde the larger circle into eight sections, just as you would slice a pie.
In the eight sections write your positive affirmations and one step you need to begin to meet the center goal.
After creating the Focus Wheel make sure it is visible everyday.

When you use this tool think about how you will feel when you meet the goal you desire.
Remember it is not going to always feel good, but you must remember that commitment must always take precedence over motivation. This is to say you will not always be motivated.
Last, but not least, be patient with yourself if you fail, you can always get back up and start again!
